Information all stallholders need

On these pages stall holders and those contemplating becoming a stall-holder at our extremely popular market, will find just about everything they need, including newsletters and a number of forms essential to stall holders.

One or more of the forms can be completed on-line, as you can see, then printed for delivery, with the appropriate documents, to the Market Coordinator.

"The Committee is aware some people may find the pre-payment system challenging, and that is not the intention. We are happy to receive pre-payment for all permanent stalls on either a monthly, quarterly, six monthly or 12 monthly basis – but the main thing is it needs to be transferred into our bank account by the Wednesday prior to the next market with all of your contact details listed. Receipts will then be distributed at the next market." [extracted from June 2011 newsletter]

Temporary Food Stallholders

Temporary Food permit guidelines and an application to register form are available from the tab along the top of this page. Temporary food stall only for residents within the Shire of Strathbogie.

All information is available on the Shire's website at www.strathbogie.vic.gov.au. Go to the Residents - Public Health - Food Safety for all forms.

Please note: All registrations for temporary food stalls are provided by the Strathbogie Shire Council NOT the Violet Town Market Committee.

If you are registered with another Council, you need to let the Strathbogie Shire Council know that you have applied for a stall at the Violet Town market and that you already have permits.

Permanent Stallholders

We presume you are coming unless you call to cancel by the Wednesday prior to the market.

If we do not receive a call to cancel, you will be charged for the site, as we could have made the site available to someone else.
