Aims of Business Network
Overall the aims of the Violet Town Business Network are:
- To provide information sharing and networking opportunities for existing, new and emerging businesses
- To provide leadership in and to actively contribute to economic development in Violet Town and District
- To actively represent and promote Violet Town and District businesses
- To inform the broader community and businesses to support local businesses
- To contribute to and facilitate the support of projects and activities that promote the well being of Violet Town and District as a great place to live, work and visit
- To advocate to and represent Violet Town and District business interests to appropriate levels of government and business support organisations in relation to matters affecting business sustainability and development, for example infrastructure needs, resourcing, training and development opportunities
- To provide opportunities and/or links to professional development and other learning activities and resources.
