Boho Valley Plants is a small native nursery at Boho in the foothills of the Strathbogie Ranges.
Native plants in these days of uncertain rainfall and seemingly hotter and longer summers are best-ever value. With more and more bushland and habitat being lost to drought, fire and over-clearing, it is imperative for us as gardeners to do what we can for the myriads of other creatures that rely our native plants.
I grow and sell garden-worthy ornamental natives that are suited to this area being in the main, drought and frost hardy. I can also advise on suitability of varieties for your conditions if you're needing help.
Plants can be purchased at two local markets - Tatong and Violet Town (first and second Saturdays of the month), or from the catalogue by phone, email or post. Nursery visits may be made by prior arrangement. There are many varieties of plants that I take to markets which are not on the catalogue as there are only very small numbers of each - these are varieties I buy in and re-sell, usually PBR varieties, or those needing more specialised propagation equipment. I am also able to try and source any varieties you are chasing, so please let me know your wish list.
Due to space, time and water restrictions, larger numbers of any variety must be pre-ordered. A reminder that now is the time to forward order your requirements for next autumn's plantings.

Our plants are on sale at the monthly Tatong and Violet Town markets (1st and 2nd Saturdays respectively).
