Welcome to the Violet Town Business Network
We are a group of local business people who are committed to developing and supporting a productive and vibrant business community in Violet Town and its surrounding districts.
It is a place where people with an interest in business can start or further their business. All businesses within the Violet Town and District are encouraged to participate in the activities of the Violet Town Business Network through attendance at regular meetings, registering their business on the business directory, working on specific projects of the Violet Town Business Network or attending business workshops and seminars.
The breadth of businesses for a small community is quite outstanding and extends across commercial, agricultural support, professional and trade services, retail, accommodation, computing, hospitality, education and the arts and culture.
Formerly the Violet Town Business Network is a sub-committee of the Violet Town Action Group and has a role in bringing to fruition the strategies identified in the Violet Town and District Community Plan 2007-2010 that relate to business development, including but not limited to the Key Themes - Infrastructure, Local Services and Marketing.
Broadly the Violet Town Business Network aims to provide an effective information sharing network as well as promoting businesses and business development.
