Collect a detailed information sheet, including a map, at the next Violet Town market on Saturday 11 November 2006. You can also print this page as an information sheet.

When: The gardens will be open from 10 am until 4 pm on Market Day.

Cost: $3 per garden on $10 for all five gardens.

The Gardens

  1. 1. Sheryl and Ivan Taylor at 79 Hurt Street: A cool, neat and welcoming garden with lots of pots, succulents, birds and a new vegetable garden.
  2. 2. Trish and Mel Delahey at 63 Hurt Street: A wide expansive front with a splash of red roses. Go via the shady path to beautiful roses, arches, arbors and a lovely deck area.
  3. 3. John McLean at 27A Primose Street: A prize winning garden with lots to see. Attractive exotic trees, shrubs, flowers and ornaments.
  4. 4. Val McLean on Murchison Road: All market visitors would remember David Sheills and his natives. Come and see his old garden with new owner Val.
  5. 5. Barb Ramage on Murchison Road: Very new with lots of old favourites moved in from Bimbadeen. Enjoy a Devonshire tea before you wend your way home.
