Results of the 2013 Council Plan Survey
The Strathbogie Shire Council is officially releasing results of the Council Plan Survey held in 2013 alongside the public release of the draft 2013-2017 Council Plan for community feedback.
The Council Plan Survey was conducted so that ideas and feedback from local communities on the future direction of the Strathbogie Shire could be incorporated wherever possible into the Council Plan.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor, Cr Deb Swan said “I am pleased that we had such a good response to the survey. The information gathered has directed our thinking on what we might be able to achieve in this 4 year plan within our budget.”
“Once the draft Council Plan is ready for public comment, I will invite the community to work with us once again on wording and direction. We will be heading out for some public meetings that will make sure we have captured what is important to our towns so please make the effort to come along and tell us what you think.”
The Council Plan survey asked questions such as ‘What do you think makes the Strathbogie Shire such a great place to live?’ and ‘What do you think our focus should be to build a better Strathbogie Shire for the future?’
