Market Report November 2006

It was a bit hot at our last market which probably has more effect on how long people stay when they visit rather than stallholder attendance. This time of the year starts a flush of extra stalls.

This month and next finds Kathy Olive with her home grown native flowers, tea tree this month and kangaroo paws in December.

Cherries made an appearance and stone fruit also had its first showing. Berries are also a feature and in December alongside strawberries we can expect raspberries and blueberries.

October and November markets were fully booked and December's market is close to being fully booked too.

The other feature this time of the year is of course Christmas and if you are big on Christmas the market is a great place to shop for almost anything you might need - gifts, food, decorations, wrapping paper and cards to name just some. So come along to the December market and shop till you drop-a bit of the old retail therapy!

If you are local and want a stall in December remember to book early or you will find yourself on the waiting list and may not get a spot. Well that's it for this month - hope to see you at the market on the 9 December from the Market Coordinator, Chris 041 623 3584.
