Market Report - September 2007
It was another beautiful day for the September Violet Town Market. As we are in the lead up to our busiest time of the year very few of our permanent stallholders were away.
Most permanents let me know that they won't be coming so I can reallocate their site, three or four days notice at the least makes my job easier. For those who don't let me know you may be asked to pay the site fee for the month you missed, you are also at risk of losing your permanent site so please let me know.
Lots of casuals attended in September as well and some of these were Katherine with Uncle Johns Licorice, Jenny with her computer photo/ craft program, Peta with Cambodian silk, Grant with his metal handicrafts and Valma with her Leaping Frog leather crafts to name but a few (there were 55 casual stallholders in all). Our casuals help to keep our market interesting and vibrant.
Our market is in need of a computer printer, anybody who has a printer that they would be prepared to donate (even a black and white printer would do) please let the coordinator know on 0416 233 584.
We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to join our market team on market days. If you think this might be something you would enjoy once again contact either myself or any other committee member. Well that's about it for this month. Thanks and hope to see you at our October market.
