New stallholders and Re-booking casual stalls
You must telephone each month to re-book a stall and you will go onto the waiting list and be notified if a site is available.
Please do not assume that because you attended the previous market you will automatically have a place at the next market.
Being offered a site will depend on availability of sites and the type of product you are offering.
You will be placed on a priority wait-list and be contacted by the Coordinator to confirm your place for the next market, usually by text message, in the week or two prior to the market.
If you do not hear from the Coordinator, it means there is no site availbale this month. Please call again the following month to go on the wait list for the next market.
Unfortunately we do not take pre-bookings for months in advance - as we can usually only plan one months market in advance at this stage.
So please be sure to stay in touch by phoning in to let us know that you would like to go on the wait list for the upcoming month's market. Your name will be added to the waitlist for that month.
Selection will depend on the type of product you are offering (we try not to have too many of any one thing), as well as site availability (double sites are harder to come by); and if you're a local or regional resident.
After four to five markets, if you wish to apply for a permanent site, you will need to discuss this with the Coordinator, and this will be decided by the committee.
It's a sort of a 'try before you buy' set up - so we all see how things work out, and how reliable you will be.
Our market is on rain, hail or shine - unless it's a Code Red day, or the equivalent level for flood / storm, and would only be cancelled in extreme conditions at the discretion of the Coordinator and Committee.
