Violet Town Youth Music Program records CD

Twenty two people from Violet Town and district headed off to Melbourne on Friday and Saturday the 4th - 5th August 2006 and recorded a CD at Studio 52 as apart of Kool Skools project.

The CD called Ultraviolet features 12 original songs cover the genres of folk/celtic, Hip Hop, Easy Listening and alternate will be launched in Violet Town over the next few months.

The professionals at studio 52 were impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm of the young people and the CD reflects this. The young people involved in the project also took part in a photo shoot and made a short video of the time in the studio.

This has been a very exciting and successful project. The Youth Jam continues on Sundays from 2pm at the community complex. Contact 57981288 for more information.
