October Market Fundraiser planning is in full swing. A stall will sell a range of items and we invite further items and people to help with this stall. Items such as plants and produce, cooking and preserves, craft and creative items would all be gratefully accepted for sale. Tin rattlers will be at each gate to collect your donations. Thank you to the many Violetonians and district people who responded to the recent survey to obtain your thoughts on the importance and future of St Dunstans Anglican Church. If you have not responded as yet and wish to we welcome your response. Survey forms with four short questions will be available at the market and can be left at Delaheys IGA or posted to PO Box 48, Violet Town.
Your input will assist the Parish Council and congregation make the very important decision at their meeting in October on the future of the building. At the same time advice is being sort from qualified engineers to ascertain the scope of work required for restoration of the foundations and the structure above.
