Councillor Robin Weatherald Apologises

At last night's Strathbogie Shire Council meeting Councillor Robin Weatherald moved to suspend standing orders with Councillor Mick Williams seconding the move.

Councillor Robin Weatherald went on to publicly apologise for his inappropriate comments regarding the possible "evacuation" of Euroa and apologized for any concern caused to members of the community as a consequence of his comments. He admitted that his comments had caused concern and for that he was sorry.

Councillor Robin Weatherald was then reinstated as the portfolio representative for the Resource GV (Goulburn Valley Regional Waste Management Group) and Goulburn Valley Community Road Safety Council.
