Business Directory to streamline communication

Strathbogie Shire Council has developed a questionnaire to improve existing information to develop a more comprehensive business directory.

The aim of the directory is to enable all small businesses to have an opportunity to contribute to and benefit from marketing and promotional activities.

Business Development Officer, Lisa Norman said "The information will not only form an essential directory of services available for the local community but also to tourists visiting the area and people looking to move to our municipality."

Local business owner in VioletTown Jo Beavis said "I encourage small business owners to fill out the questionnaire and be part of the directory. It makes sense for us to have a shire-wide directory that we can use as a tool to not only promote the region but also locally as an essential services listing."
