POTENTIAL FUNDING OPPORTUNITY
The Community Fund is an independent, non-government, public fund established in 2001.
Its mission is to engage the people of the Goulburn Valley in activities that will raise funds to support worthy community programs, services and initiatives within the region.
Applications for funding for 2007 open 1 July and close 31 July 2007.
Beneficiaries of the fund must be:
- Properly constituted
- Not for profit organisations with a charter to provide services in one or more of the following areas within the Goulburn Valley
- Health and rehabilitation
- Aged care
- Families
- Youth and children
- Indigenous community
- Cultural and ethnic programs
- Disability
- Emergency relief agencies
- Unemployment and accommodation needs
- General community and other welfare services
Two application forms are available at www.thecommunityfund.com.au: one for small grants up to $5,000 and one for grants between $50,000 and $20,000
Applicants will be advised of the outcome by end of September 2007.
