'Six degrees of diabetes'
We invite you to join us at the diabetes play 'six degrees of diabetes' written by award winning playwright Alan Hopgood AM, this is a humorous performance about three middle aged men, all journalists, who meet in a pub.
They have indulged in the 'good life', eating and drinking to excess for many years. The story picks up at a time when they need to make some hard decisions about their health.
A panel of health professionals will take questions from the audience after the performance.
- When: Tuesday, 14th August 2007 7pm
- Where: BPACC, 57 Samaria Rd, Benalla
- Refreshments: Healthy snacks and refreshments will be provided.
- Cost: Gold coin donation appreciated
Cooking For 1 or 2
Are you cooking for 1 or 2 people at home? -Are you over 55 years of age? - Would you like to learn more cooking skills? - Do you struggle to think of ideas for dinner?
If so, why don't you come along to 'Cooking for 1 or 2', have some fun and share some food with new friends.
It involves meeting once a week over four weeks for a couple of hours to cook and share some fantastic recipes.
