Country Womens Association grants for community events

The Federal Government has funding of up to $3,000 to help stage morale-lifting community events. There doesn’t appear to be a closing date for applications although, obviously, the sooner the better as funds are offered across Australia and it is anticipated there will be significant demand.

The grants are available through the Country Women’s Association (CWA) to raise the spirits of drought-ravaged communities.

Local community grants will be able to apply for grants to help meet the cost of holding events such as:

The grants are also available for groups wanting to organise drought forms focusing on the crucial issue of mental health.
