Roving reporters required
Are you interested in becoming involved in a youth-friendly web based project?
youthcentral is the Victorian Government's website for young people.
youthcentral is currently seeking young Victorians aged between 16 and 24 years to join their Roving Reporter team.
Roving Reporters are freelance journalists who write articles, reviews and interviews that are of interest to young people. These contributions are then published on the youthcentral website.
We encourage you to apply if you would like to:
- develop your writing skills,
- contribute your own ideas and views,
- share information about issues and events within your local area,
- have your writing published on the web,
- access training and workshops,
- and meet other young people from across Victoria.
Support and guidance from the Media Liaison Officer at Strathbogie Shire Council, Marli Kelly, will be available.
Young people with a variety of backgrounds, interests, experiences and ideas are welcome to apply.
