† St Dunstans in June †
Regular Sunday services at 11.15 am - All are invited to attend with guests and visitors.
Could it be that our prayers at the Drought Buster Muster on the last Sunday in April have been heard? Three congregations joined forces at the community centre with Father Rodger and Father Andrew leading the service. Wonderful music and song from our locally talented youth and not so young, lifted hearts and spirits. Thank you to all who contributed to this most successful day. Also thank you for donation from the CWA (via VTAG) and from the Op Shop which enabled everyone to join together for a meal following the service.
The day of our Patron Saint, Dunstan, has been celebrated with Evensong and feast. Visitors from the Parish of Euroa, Benalla and from our local churches joined the congregation. Evensong is rarely held so this old form of the service was really enjoyed.
Our Parish is a strong supporter of the Karen people and this month sent a donation to help pay for a teacher for 16-17 yo in the refugee camp school. (The teachers are paid $450 pa) Any size donations you would like to contribute can make a huge difference and will be forwarded directly from the Parish of Euroa or St Dunstans.
We pray for May Welsh and Colin Rae.
Vale May Welsh Josephine May Welsh - May as we knew her, passed away on 4th May and will be sadly missed by all at St Dunstans. She was a faithful worshiper and friend. Our condolences to Doug and family.
Vale Colin Rae - who passed away on 17th May. Our condolences go out to Dot and family. Colin will always be remembered for his ready smile and joy he had for those around him.
