Treasure Hunt at the Euroa Show - win great prizes

The Euroa Agricultural Show this year will be holding an "Educational Treasure Hunt" for all children 15 years and under.

Each child who attends the show is entitled to one free entry form for the Treasure Hunt. Tickets will be available at the Secretary's office from 8am that morning.

The entry form will consist of approximately 12 questions and children will have to visit all sections of the show to find the answers to the questions.

For example in the sheep section the question might be: What was the name of the woman who brought the first merino sheep to Seven Creek Station at Euroa in 1851.

At the sheep section there will be merino sheep in a pen with information about Eliza Furlong.

Entrants will have the chance to win one of 100 prizes of $10 - winners will be drawn at random, ie the 1st 100 entries drawn.

Lorraine Millard, Euroa Show Committee Member said, "The aim of the treasure hunt is to provide an educational and fun activity for children on show day. Euroa Show is the only show held throughout the whole of the municipality so we want families from all areas to come and enjoy a great day out."

Join in the fun, learn something new, see the exhibits and have a great social and family day out at the Agricultural show on Saturday the 27 October.
