The Melbourne Cup to visit the North East

The Melbourne Cup - a National icon, will be visiting the North East over the weekend as one of the final legs of its International Tour.
On Saturday 27 October the Cup along with a contingent including Melbourne Cup Winning Jockey, Steven King and VRC Media Manager Joe McGrath, will participate in three seperate community related activities in the North East Region of Victoria.
Itinery - Saturday 27 October 2007.
- Euroa Show (Showgrounds) between 10am and 2pm .
- Tastes of the Goulburn (Food & Wine event at the Seymour Railway Station) between 3.30pm and 4.30pm
- Riding for the Disabled (RDA) Seymour Branch - Cocktail Function (Seymour Race Course) 6.30pm - 8pm.
The RDA cocktail function will also include Melbourne Cup winning Trainer - Sheila Laxon as a guest speaker. Tickets for this function are still available at $25 per person.
