Positive Parenting Program for Parents and Carers

(Of children aged 18 months - 6 years)

We all at times struggle in our role as parents!

Strathbogie Shire Council's Maternal Child Health and Hume Region Parent Education at Goulburn Valley invite you to come and join this informative program and look at some strategies to help develop your relationship with your children and discuss a range of effective ways to manage misbehaviour.

The course will be run as 4 group sessions on a Wednesday evening, followed by an optional individual telephone consultation.

Topics include:

Building positive relationships
Teaching new skills and promoting positive behaviour
Managing misbehaviour
Planning ahead/family survival tips
Parent self care
Individual parenting strategies.

Venue: The Eclipse Café (behind Community Service offices), Bury Street. Euroa.
Starting Date: Wednesday 31st October 2007
Time: 12.30-3.00pm
Cost: $24.00/person. $28.00/couple
(Cost covers one parent workbook and light supper)
