From Blackberries to Bobucks

Strathbogie Shire Council and the Strathbogie Tableland Landcare Group invite you to a field day held near Boho South on Sunday 14th September.
Frog ecologist and Weedbuster runner-up, Angus Martin will take participants on a guided walk to reveal his methods of blackberry removal, all of which were conducted with biodiversity and habitat restoration in mind, including installation of Bobuck (Mountain Brush-tailed Possum) nest boxes. A fantastic effort!
Come and see first-hand how this blackberry infested creek has been restored to a healthy habitat on a property near Boho South in the Strathbogie Ranges.
Zoologist, Jenny Martin will talk about her research on Bobucks (Mountain Brushtail possums) in the area.
