Welcome to the April 2008 edition of Smart Water Fund News. In this issue we cover the announcement Round 5 funding recipients at an event with Minister for Water, Tim Holding in early April.
In this edition we also expanding the scope of the Smart Water Fund Knowledge Bank. In each edition we will profile additional innovative water projects that are not funded directly through the Smart Water Fund.
The Smart Water Fund is on the look out for other innovative water management solutions out in the community and business to promote through the Knowledge Bank. If you know of an innovative project send your story ideas to info@smartwater.com.au.
Round 6 coming soon
The Smart Water Fund will launching Round 6 of funding in the coming months. The Fund expects to be open for applications in late June.

The Smart Water Fund has supported over 150 projects across Victoria. Each project will provide unique learnings on innovative water conservation, recycling and biosolid management solutions.

The Smart Water Fund - investing in innovation
The Smart Water Fund, established in 2002, is an initiative of the water industry and the Victorian Government to encourage the development of ideas that will make a difference to the way we use our water resources.
By investing in and promoting innovative water saving, water recycling or bio-solids management projects, the Smart Water Fund works with the diverse groups across urban Victoria to help secure our water future.
Since its inception, the Smart Water Fund has supported over 150 innovative sustainable water use projects, investing approximately $25 million over the five funding rounds.
