Farmers in Drought Family Fun Day Out

On Sunday 14 December 2008, Riverine Plains Inc will host a free Farmers in Drought Family Fun Day Out at the Mulwala Waterslide. The program will commence at 11am for a BBQ lunch and finish at 3pm.
The aim of the day is to provide a free family fun day out with the focus on social interaction and activities for all. We are trying to provide some relief, albeit in a small way, towards the emotional effects and stress that this ongoing drought places on farmers and their families.
This year we are fortunate to have free tube and banana rides on the lake, as well as the waterslide. There will also be a children’s jumping castle and an early visit from Santa. For the Mums and Dads, local masseurs have kindly donated their time to provide some light relief for any aches and pains.
