A three day test of man and dog teams involving competitors from all over Victoria and local sheep will commence at 7:30am on Friday 12 December 2008.

Following on from the success of last year's trials Nancy Halsall of Miepoll and a founding member of the Arena Trial Club, affiliated with the VYUFD Association Inc. has again organised the trials to be held in Violet Town.

Entries are up on last year, making it one of the club's most popular events.

Mr Neville Ellis has once again supplied the sheep. "Without the generous sponsorship from local business and from Euroa and Shepparton this trial could not be held." said Nancy Halsall

There are three classes of trials during the three-day competition including Encourage, Novice, Improver and Open run in conjunction. Judging the trials will be Mr Greg Campbell, Mr Andrew Mintern and Mr Paul O'Kane.
