Beas Window win at Melbourne Convention Centre

On Saturday 8 November the Violet Town Community House Youth Music Development Program and Supporters headed off to the Gala Night in Melbourne where Violet Town’s own Beas Window was one of the performers.

The night was a great success with young musicians from all over Victoria and Southern NSW coming along to celebrate their music. Over 500 songs were recorded in Victoria alone and another 500 in NSW throughout the 2008 project.

Violet Town’s music program was once again recognised with Beas Window winning the best rock/alternate track and being nominated for Best Band.

On Saturday 22 November the Violet Town Youth Music Program will be launching its new CD Stick It. Featuring Lozilly, Risk of Electric Shock and Bea’s Window the concert will begin at 7pm and finish at approximately 9.30pm. Come along to the Violet Town Community House verandah and enjoy a great night of great music by local young musicians. There is no charge and the event will be fully supervised.
