SP AusNet Community Development Fund

Local energy distribution company SP AusNet - owner and operator of the powerlines in eastern Victoria - has just launched the SP AusNet Community Development Fund in the Strathbogie Shire.

What is the Fund?

The SP AusNet Community Development Fund is $15,000 dedicated exclusively to the Strathbogie Shire. All local community groups are invited to apply, with a maximum of up to $5,000 able to be allocated to an individual group.

The SP AusNet Community Development Fund is aimed at providing local groups with the opportunity to realise their community project ideas, with a set criteria in place for all applications to be rated against.

To view this criteria and print an application form, please visit SP AusNet's website - www.sp-ausnet.com.au and connect to In the community > Community Development Fund. Printed application forms are available from the following locations;

A link is also provided on Council’s website via the grants page.

Application timings and selection process

The fund is now open for applications. Applications close on Friday 31 October. A committee made up of SP AusNet representatives and Strathbogie Shire council members will select which groups the funds will be allocated to, with fund recipients to be announced in November.

More information: Please direct any questions regarding the SP AusNet Community Development Fund to public.relations@sp-ausnet.com.au or phone (03) 9695 6867.
