As a local woman said "something is changing and it is the climate"
Women in a Changing Climate, a Gathering of women is being held at The Centre, Chisholm Street, Wangaratta Wednesday 8 April 2009.
Come along for an extended lunch 12:30pm - 2pm Lunch provided, catered by Espresso on Ovens.
Over lunch we will check the science and then discuss "what are the impacts of climate change from a rural womans perspective?
Come along and have your say, find what others have to say. Who is making the decisions about our future climate?
What can we do?
This is an opportunity for you to network and to share your ideas. Your answers to these questions will be combined with information from women's gatherings across Victoria.
The combined information will be presented to the State Women in a Changing Climate Forum to be held in Melbourne on Tuesday 28th April.
An outcomes report that will be written and available to decision makers, policy makers.
Expressions of interest to attend the Forum will be available on the day.
