Community Anglicare Meeting
Suzie Don-Leonard, Community Development Manager of Anglicare in the Hume Region would like to meet with members the Violet Town community to inform and discuss with us the wide range of services and support she is able to offer to our community through Anglicare.
This is an opportunity for local people to consider the needs and service gaps in Violet Town and to work together with support to address these needs and to make a difference.
Who should attend: all volunteers and representatives from Violet Town and District community groups and organisations.
Where: The Uniting Church, Tulip St, Violet Town
When: 10am to 12 noon, Wednesday 19 August 2009
Anglicare is operated by volunteers from all faith groups participating and supporting communities in partnership with other local groups such as local health services, service groups and so on.
In recent times she has been busy with bushfire emergency relief and with rural families needing drought support.
Please come to this morning tea and help identify any support and services you feel may be of greatest value for our community members.
