Lions Park Redevelopment Project – Community Art Involvement
From 10am - 3pm on 14, 15 and 16 April at the Lions Park in Cowslip St Violet Town a very exciting art project is taking place, which everyone is invited to join.
Michael Leunig has been asked by the community to design a mural which will be created from metal and attached to the brick wall in the park. Michael has completed the design and the Sculpture is being created at the moment.
The next step in the project is that the Archway, Pavilion and surrounds will be painted with colour and images and this is where we would love your input and involvement. So this is where you come in.
All you need to bring is some clothes that can become messy. You don't need to come for the whole day, just when you can. For more information please
