On Friday 15 May, Director of the Lockland Group, Ron Loccisano announced that Winslow Constructions Melbourne had been awarded the elloura Development contract in Nagambie.

Ron Loccisano Director of the Lockland Group praised the co-operation of Strathbogie Shire Council and the community saying, "In times where councillors tend to not want to make a decision, Strathbogie Shire Council has stood up for its residents by facilitating growth through its backing of Elloura. It's been an outstanding collaboration which will make us all proud in years to come."

CEO of Strathbogie Shire Council, Kevin Hannagan said, "Council is delighted that this large - scale development will commence shortly. It will bring a significant boost financially, economically and socially to the township of Nagambie. The development will provide significant employment opportunities during construction and approximately 100 ongoing positions after completion."

Ward Councillor, Debra Swan said, "The development will greatly increase Nagambie's profile throughout Victoria. Nagambie is increasingly becoming known for its fine food and wine and this development will help augment a growing tourism industry. As a local resident I'm thrilled that the development works will soon begin."

The works are expected to commence within 3 weeks.

The development is expected to take five years to complete.
