Strathbogie Shire Council has appointed Noelker Consulting to undertake the development of a bicycle / footpath strategy in the township of Violet Town.
Funding by Council will enable a bicycle / footpath strategy to be developed and plans to be produced. That in turn will allow Council to seek funds from higher levels of government to undertake its implementation.
Violet Town Action Group supports the project planning and recommends that all residents should participate by completing the survey form provided by the consultant and submitting comments.
The surveys on the subject can be returned to the Shire offices or residents can attend and voice their opinions at the public meeting at 7:30pm on Tuesday 17 November in the conference room at the Shire offices.
