Australia Day 2010 Nominations Open
Helen Keller once said, “The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker.”
Do you know someone who you think is worthy of an Australia Day nomination? Or is there a local organization or community event that stands out for you as being worthy of a nomination? Then we want you to put pen to paper and fill in a nomination form for the Australia Day 2010 Awards.
Australia Day is a day to celebrate what it means to be Australian. Last year, Australia Day throughout Strathbogie shire was bigger than ever. Nagambie will host the shire-wide awards in 2010. Celebrations will also be held at various communities across the shire.
