Grants for Community Sport and Recreation Groups
Organisations delivering sport and recreation activities in regional Victoria, could be eligible for support under the Country Action Grant Scheme and Victalent.
1. Up to $5000 per project is available from the Country Action Grant Scheme to:
- Improve the organisation or club eg: Preparation of Business Plan, Development of Club/organisation website, Development of policy and procedures manuals etc...
- Enhance the skills of coaches, officials or administrators eg: participation in courses (coaching or umpiring, First Aid); or Help to provide better access for all members of the community.
2. Eligible organisations may also apply for up to two $500 Victalent grants to assist with travel related to competition or training for officials, coaches, athletes and teams.

Applications for both programs are now open.
The closing dates for applications for projects starting in the first half of 2010 is 30 September 2009.
Applicants are encouraged to discuss their application with a DPCD regional representative before lodging a submission.
