Malcolm Little wins Strathbogie by-election result for Hughes Creek Ward

Long-term resident of the Avenel district, Malcolm Little won Strathbogie Shire Council's by-election today 749 to 312 (Bill Ryley) and 32 informal votes.
Malcolm is married to Robin and has owned and operated a MBAV registered building business and a farm in the ward for many years. During that time he has been actively engaged in various community projects and committees.
Malcolm Little said, "I am looking forward to representing the Hughes Creek Ward to help maintain and improve the environment and wellbeing of the district; to ensure that future policy is in the best interests of the community; to ensure that there is better communication between the people and the shire; and to ensure that commonsense and fairness prevails throughout.
Malcolm Little will be formally inducted on Monday 21st September at 9am at Strathbogie Shire Council's Conference Centre.
