DPCD - Country Football Netball Grants

The Department of Planning and Community Development have just announced new Guidelines for the Country Football Netball Grants – and Applications are now open.
If you have a project in mind that you think may fit with the Country Football Netball Program, please read the Guidelines attached – in particular pages 4 and 5 that stipulate what will and will not be funded.
Applications under this program are only accepted by DPCD from Council – so Council will need to approve your application before it can even be submitted to DPCD. We haven’t been provided with a deadline as yet for Applications – however past experience tells me it will be sooner rather than later.
So, if you have a project that meets the guidelines, please let me know ASAP. You need to have a specific project in mind – and the more information you have when you get in touch with me, the better – that is – exactly what you want to do, estimated cost of project, etc. Whilst I don’t mind if you call me, replying via email with all the details of your project is the best option. I therefore have a submission in writing to present to the Councillors for discussion.
Given the lack of due date from DPCD as yet, I would suggest that if you are interested, you let me know by Friday 17 September 2010.
