Information and communication technologies (ICT) are increasingly central to work practices and to the ways we communicate with one another. The not-for-profit (NFP) community sector can benefit from ICT in a range of ways, from improving systems for managing information to enhancing our ability to speak to each other and to our communities.
The Office for the Community Sector is holding workshops in the Hume region and we would like to invite you to come along and talk with us about the barriers that prevent you from using technology in your day-to-day work. We will also present you with some easy-to-understand ICT solutions on the day.
Whether you are a sports club, a Neighbourhood House, a human services organisation or a local historical society, these workshops will offer you fresh information to enhance your work in the community and provide an opportunity to contribute your knowledge to the next phase of our work in developing ICT capacity in the community sector.
Please RSVP to Carla Pascoe at the Office for the Community Sector at carla.pascoe@dpcd.vic.gov.au or phone 9208 3895.
