Strathbogie Shire Council is busy preparing for its second Lifestyle Expo - Celebrating Diversity in our community.

Displays, live entertainment, story telling, lifestyle information, children's activities, guest speakers, demonstrations, workshop and culturally diverse food will make a full program of events on Friday October 1st from 10am - 4pm at the Euroa Secondary College.

An inspiring story of courage and resilience will be told by guest speaker, Anne Skinner.

Horsewoman Anne Skinner just keeps beating the odds. In 1997 the hand of fate dealt Anne the cruelest blow. In one devastating moment she was transformed from a senior equestrian coach of riders with disabilities to a shattered equestrian with multiple disabilities. She lived when emergency medical personal gave her no hope. She pulled through ground breaking surgery, performed for the first time in Australia. Her special presentation will inspire and uplift.

Come and enjoy all the colour and spectacle of the Congalese dancers and the Angel's Voice Choir who will delight the crowd with their heart-warming performance.

A presentation by blind photographer Andrew Follows and his guide dog Eamon will be sure to move you.

For those who are fashion conscious an eclectic collection of fashion will be paraded from 12.30pm.

For those a little braver Crocodile Encounters will give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with a crocodile or a series of reptiles.

Councillor Colleen Furlanetto from the Disability Advisory Committee said, "A number of agencies and holistic therapies will be represented at the Expo including: Centrelink, Family Care - Kid's Corner, Euroa Arboretum, Baarrooka Alpacas, Bogie Spinners and Weavers, Traditional Aboriginal Basket Weaving, Reiki/ Homeopathy, Sexual Diversity, Euroa Library, Lifeball Demonstration, Gilburn House, Men's Shed, Central Access, Massage, CFA, Flower Essences, W.B Gadd - Merino Possum clothing, Aboriginal painting workshop and the Mental illness Fellowship. It will be a wonderful opportunity for visitors to seek information, be entertained, be inspired and eat culturally diverse food. We hope you can make it."

You could also go into the draw to win two tickets to see the amazing "Hairspray- the Musical" with Walters Buslines. Just visit the Expo and complete your entry form to be in with a chance.
