The Friends of the VTBNC is a small but active group helping to provide small extra things for the comfort and support of residents of the Centre.
Originally known as the Ladies Auxiliary of the VTBNC, the group has a long history of wonderful support for the Centre.
Regular fundraising activities include tin rattling as the community organisation of the month at the Violet Town Market and the annual Mothers' Day Raffle. These fundraising activities are widely supported in the community.
Members also do a trolley run of items such as toiletries, drinks and lollies around the hostel and to high care residents to supply necessities to those that may not have regular family visitors to assist them.
The group meets in the chapel at the Centre at 10.00 am on the last Thursday of the month.
New members are always welcome. Please contact the Centre on 5798 1324 or the Secretary Ray Kirkpatrick 0409 511 897.
