New stall applications
If you are a new stall holder, please complete a Stall Application and you will receive a response via email within two weeks.
If your application is approved, you may be offered a site for the market date you selected, you are also able to book for the future market dates as a casual stall holder.
How to book a casual stall
Bookings are compulsory for every market and casual stallholders are welcome to apply.
Permanent stallholders are sent an email each market with their allocated site and must ensure that they have paid for their site by the Tuesday eleven days before the Market.
Payment is made online via the link in their email or via the following link:-
Casual stallholders need to request a site through the Market Coordinator
Allocation of casual sites
When a booking request is made the individual will be advised by email that they have either been allocated a site, or they have been placed on the waiting list. Any offered site is NOT confirmed until payment is received. Payment must be made by the Tuesday eleven days before the Market unless the offer is a resut of a cancellation. If payment is late the site may be reallocated to another casual stallholder.
All bookings for each monthly market are closed on the Saturday afternoon, a week prior to market day. Please do not assume that because you attended a previous market you will be given a site automatically at the next market. Casuals must apply to the coordinator each month if they are wishing to attend. Payment for a site needs to be made by the Tuesday eleven days prior to the market to confirm your booking.
The market is on rain, hail or shine - unless it's a Code Red day. Please read the Market Policy and Procedures document for further information (see link below).
Payment for casual stalls
For casual stallholders – payment must be made online prior to each market via the link provided in the site allocation email.
Permanent Stallholders
A permanent stallholder is a stallholder who has been granted a stall at the Violet Town Community Market at a designated site each month on an ongoing basis and has received, in writing, confirmation of their permanent status.

Community Policy
The Violet Town Community Market is a community-based market. It is delivered by volunteers through a Market Committee, a sub committee of the community-based organisation Violet Town Action Group (VTAG). VTAG employs one paid Market Coordinator who is supervised by the Chair of the Market Committee. All other positions and duties carried out for the market are voluntary whereby people give freely of their time in order to maximise any revenue for community uses.
